Error Message: Password Error

If you are receiving a Password Error message you must determine if the DVR / NVR system has already been logged in to or if this is the first time logging in:

  • If you are logging in to the DVR / NVR system for the first time, enter the default password. Refer to your user manual for your default password.

    RECOMMENDED: Change the default username and password of your DVR / NVR system after initial log in. Refer to your DVR / NVR system user manual for details. Click here for downloads and documentation for your product.

  • If your DVR / NVR password has been changed, ensure that your password is being entered correctly:

    • An LHV / LNR Series DVR / NVR log in password can only be six digits or characters in length.
    • If your password is more than 6 characters, try entering the first six digits of your password when logging in.
