FLIR FX Modes: Action mode

The FLIR FX camera will automatically go into Action mode while not connected to a base (indoor stand / outdoor housing). Action mode is also active when using the Sports case or Dash mount with WiFi enabled.
In Action mode, the camera records in 1080p directly to the microSD card (included).

Action mode is indicated by the action mode text visible in the smartphone version of the FLIR FX app below the live stream.
In tablets Action mode is indicated in the Recording Triggers Menu. The option to toggle motion recordings will be disabled, but the option to toggle audio triggers will still be active, as seen below.

If the camera is powered on before being connected to the indoor stand, outdoor housing, or dash mount, the camera will automatically enter Action mode and disable WiFi. After connecting the camera to the base, WiFi can be turned back on using the WiFi button (WiFi button) or the Power button (FLIR FX Camera: Power Button).

RECOMMENDATION: If WiFi turns off when already using the indoor stand, outdoor housing, or Dash mount, we recommend first reseating the camera.
