LNC Cameras: Camera not connecting to WiFi using L-View

The LNC Series camera is equipped with WiFi capabilities to allow it to connect to your computer, smartphone, or tablet. If your camera is not connecting to WiFi, it could be related to an issue with your camera’s power source or internal settings. Start by checking the status of your WiFi connection.

To check your LNC camera WiFi connection:

Check the status LED for network connection on the camera.

  • The LED is illuminated when the camera is connected to the Internet.
  • The LED is flashing when the camera cannot connect to the Internet.

If the LED is flashing, then there is an issue with the connection. Try reconnecting to your camera to WiFi using your computer.

If you have followed the steps above and the LED on your camera is not lit, check your camera power source by connecting the camera with a different functional power adapter and outlet.

If you have connected a functional power adapter and cannot connect to the Internet, restore your camera to default settings.

To restore your camera to default settings:

  1. With the camera turned on, press and hold the reset button on the camera for at least 10 seconds, using a pin or small object.

REMINDER: Refer to your user manual for location of the reset button for your model. Click here for downloads and documentation for your product.

  2. Restart the camera and connect it to WiFi using a computer. Click here for instructions on connecting the camera to WiFi for PC or Mac.
