MPX Series: Modifying user permissions

You can set permissions for any user on your MPX Series DVR. The administrator account is the only account that can modify user account permissions. By editing user permissions, you can enable or disable access to menus and functions.

The following instructions require you to access your system using your DVR and a monitor.

To edit user permissions:

1. Right-click on the Live View to access the Quick Menu.

2. Click Main Menu and then click the Setting icon (), and then click Account.

3. Click the Pencil icon () next to the user account you want to configure to open the Add User window.

   

4. Select the features and the menus that the user can access.

5. Click OK to save your settings.
