The time on your LNR200 / LNR300 Series NVR can be configured manually, or automatically by enabling Network Time Protocol (NTP). If the recorder is showing the incorrect time, or the time is resetting, adjust your time configuration settings by enabling NTP.

Prerequisite:

To enable NTP:

  1. Right-click on the Live View, and then click Menu.

  2. Click Configuration and then click General.

  3. In the Time Zone drop-down, select your time zone, and then click Apply.

  4. Click Network, and then click the NTP tab.

  5. Check the Enable NTP checkbox to enable NTP.

    EnableNTP

  6. Click Apply to connect the NVR to the server and update the time.

You can also configure advanced NTP settings:

  • Interval (min): Enter how often the NVR will access the NTP server to update the time.
  • Server Type: Select General to use the default Lorex NTP server or select Customize to enter a custom server.
  • NTP Server: Select the NTP server or enter the NTP server address.
  • NTP Port: Enter the port number of the NTP server.
