LNR200 / LNR300 Series: Configuring Pre and Post Recording times

LNR200 / LNR300 Series NVRs support pre- and post-recording. The Pre-record time determines how long the NVR will record before an event (such as motion or video loss) occurs. The Post-record time determines how long the NVR will record after an event occurs.

The following instructions require you to access your system using your NVR and a monitor.

To configure the Pre-Record and Post-Record times:

1. Right-click on the Live View, and then click Menu.

2. Click Record and then Recording Setup to open the Record tab.

   

3. In the Camera drop-down, select the camera you would like to configure.

4. In the Pre-record drop-down, select the time the NVR will record before an event.

5. In the Post-record drop-down, select the time the NVR will record after an event.

6. You can click Copy to copy the configuration to another Camera.

7. Click Apply.
