If your Lorex Smart Home Security Center (LSHSC) has a weak connection to the camera, try the following tips:

• Tip 1: First, place the LSHSC in a central location, roughly at an equal distance between all the cameras.

• Tip 2: Set the antennas on the LSHSC to the upright position.

• Tip 3: If needed, add the Lorex Home Center Extender (model # AX62TR). This will increase the wireless range of the LSHSC.

• Tip 4: If the camera is closer to your router than the LSHSC (or Extender), you can connect the camera to the router through Wi-Fi.

If you’ve already added the camera to the LSHSC remove it first.

• Tap on the camera icon.

• Choose the camera you would like to remove and tap the 3 dots above it.

• Scroll down to the bottom of the menu and tap on ‘Remove Device’.

• Tap on ‘Remove Device’.

You have successfully removed the camera.

Log into the Lorex Home app on your mobile device and add the chosen camera.

Once this process is complete go into your LSHSC and add this camera back.

• Tap on the camera icon, and then the + sign at the top.

• At this stage click on “I already have devices set up through the Lorex Home App”.

• Complete the process of adding the camera.

Your camera is now set up on your LSHSC, using your router’s Wi-Fi connection.

These steps will ensure a strong connection between your cameras and the LSHSC.
