After a set duration, the Lorex Smart Home Security Center (LSHSC) will display a screen saver.
You can change the default screen saver to any custom image.
- Load a USB drive with the images you’d like to display (all formats supported).
- Insert the USB drive into the back of the LSHSC.
- Tap on the ‘Photos’ icon.
- Tap on USB folder.
- Tap on the ‘Edit’ icon at the top right.
- Tap on the individual images you’d like to display, or tap Select All to include all the images.
- Tap Import at the bottom left.
- Tap on the Screensavers folder.
- Tap Import.
- Swipe from the bottom of the screen to return home.
- Tap on the Settings icon.
- Tap on Screen Saver Style.
- Tap on Photo.
- Tap on the images you would like to display in the screen saver.
If you choose multiple images they will be shown in a slideshow.
- Tap Save at the top right.
- You can also how the weather and time will be shown.
- Tap on one of the options.
- Tap Apply.
- Return to the previous screen.
- From the Screen Saver Settings menu, you can also adjust the Screen Saver Time.
- This will set the duration of time before the LSHSC displays the screen saver after inactivity.
- Tap Select to confirm.
- You can also change the Display Time-Out, which specifies how long the screen saver will be shown, for before the LSHSC display turns off.
- Tap Select to confirm.
- After inactivity, the screen saver will be displayed.
- Tap on the screen to wake the LSHSC.
- You can go back and remove any image from appearing in the screen saver.
- Tap on Screen Saver Style.
- Tap on Photo.
- Tap on any photo you would like to remove from the rotation.
- You can add it back at any time.
- You can also permanently remove a photo.
- Tap on the ‘Photos’ icon.
- Tap on Screensavers folder.
- Tap on the ‘Edit’ icon at the top right.
- Tap on the individual images you’d like to delete or tap Select All to include all images.
- Tap Delete at the bottom right.
- Tap Confirm.
You can manually enable the screensaver at any time by swiping down from the top of the screen and tapping on the screen saver icon.
