Parts: FLIR FX power cables

You can use a different or longer power cable / USB charger than what is included with your FLIR FX camera, indoor stand, outdoor housing, and dashcam.

IMPORTANT: While other cables may be compatible, we strongly recommend using the original power cable that was included with the FLIR FX camera. We are not able to guarantee third party cables will function properly. Any damage caused by third party cables may void the FLIR FX warranty.

USB Cable Requirements for the FX Camera, Dashcam, and Indoor Stand

• Cables must be micro USB cables with USB 2.0 specifications.
• Cables must have a maximum combined length of 5m (16' 5") before self-powered hubs or active (repeater) cables must be used.
• Computers must have USB 1.0 / 1.1 hardware to reduce maximum cable length to 3m (9' 10") before self-powered hubs or active (repeater) cables must be used.

12V Camera Power Cables Requirements for FX outdoor housing

• 12V power cables can be up to 92m (300ft)
