We are pleased to announce a new firmware release for the Lorex 2K Battery Security Camera (U471AA) to improve overall performance and reliability.

This is a recommended upgrade. The upgrade process will not affect your customized camera settings.

Before you begin, ensure the Battery Camera is awake or active, and is close to the Lorex App Center to ensure a strong connection.
To Initiate;
- in your Lorex App Center, click on the 3 dots in the top right corner of the liveview of the U471 camera to be upgraded
- in Device Settings, scroll down and click Firmware
- press the ‘Upgrade’ button.
