LHV / LNR Series: Setting up anti-dither, latch, and post record
On an LHV / LNR Series DVR / NVR, use Anti-dither, Latch, and Post Record to specify how the system behaves when motion is detected.
- Anti-dither: After an initial motion event, the system will continue to record video if a second motion event occurs within the set Anti-dither period. Some newer systems have Anti-dither fixed at 30 seconds, and therefore, do not allow a custom value to be set.
- Latch: Determines how long an alarm output device (not included – sold separately) will remain active after motion is detected.
- Post Record: Determines how long the system records video for after motion is detected.
