W281AA - How to activate or deactivate Warning LED Light

Your smart device is equipped with a Warning LED Light (see image below). You can activate the light manually or automatically when motion is detected.

Manual

Here's how to manually activate or deactivate the Warning LED light.

Step 1. Launch the Lorex App app, then tap Device Thumbnail to open the Live View.

Step 2. On the Live View, tap the Warning LED light button to manually activate the light.

NOTE: You will get an on-screen prompt when the light is ON.

Step 3. Tap the button for the second time to turn the light OFF.

NOTE: You will get an on-screen prompt when the light is OFF.

Motion

Here's how to link Warning LED Light with motion detection.

Step 1. Launch the Lorex App app, then tap Device Settings.

Step 2. Tap Detection Settings.

Step 3. Toggle Motion Detection button to ON.

Step 4. Tap Smart Detection.

Step 5. Toggle Outdoor Detection button to ON if you want to link deterrence light to vehicle detection.

Step 6. Toggle Person Detection button to ON to activate deterrence light when person is detected.

Step 7. Toggle Vehicle Detection button to ON to activate deterrence light when vehicle is detected.

Step 8. Go back to Detection Settings, then toggle Warning LED Light button to ON to link deterrence light with motion detection.
