Lorex Ping / Ping 2 App: Comparing apps

You can use either the Lorex Ping app or Lorex Ping 2 app to access your LNC Series camera from a smartphone or tablet. If using an iPad, use the Lorex Ping HD app.

Lorex Ping app

Lorex Ping allows you to view and access LNC series wireless IP cameras easily and intuitively from anywhere in the world over the Internet. The Lorex Ping app also allows you to:

• Set up the camera on your local WiFi network.
• View live video from your camera.
• Record video and snapshots directly to your smartphone or tablet.
• Play back recorded video from your smartphone or tablet from the camera’s microSD card (not included).

REMINDER: For iPhone, the Lorex Ping app is only compatible with iOS version 6.0 or higher and can be found on the App Store. For Android, the Lorex Ping app is only compatible with Android version 2.3 or higher and can be found on the Google Play Store.

Lorex Ping 2 app

Lorex Ping 2 allows you to view and access LNC100 and LNC200 series wireless IP cameras easily and intuitively from anywhere in the world over the Internet. In addition to the features mentioned above, the Lorex Ping 2 app allows you to:

• Have multi-user access to view the same camera simultaneously.
• Turn on Privacy mode to ensure your privacy.

REMINDER: For iPhone, the Lorex Ping 2 app is only compatible with iOS version 6.0 or higher and can be found on the App Store. For Android, the Lorex Ping 2 app is only compatible with Android version 4.0 or higher and can be found on the Google Play Store.

Lorex Ping HD app

The Lorex Ping HD app is compatible with iPad only. The app is compatible with iOS version 4.0 or higher and can be found on the App Store.
