Lorex netHD Stratus App: Setting up remote access
You can use the Lorex netHD Stratus app on your smartphone or tablet to remotely access your DVR.
The following instructions require you to access your system using the Lorex netHD app on your smartphone or tablet.
Prerequisites:
- Ensure your smartphone or tablet has an Internet connection.
- Install Lorex netHD Stratus app, available for Android on the Google Play Store or iOS (Apple) on the App Store.
- Ensure your DVR is connected to a router using an Ethernet cable.
To set up remote access on a smartphone or tablet:

Launch Lorex netHD Stratus app on your smartphone or tablet.

Tap Menu > Devices, or for iPads tap the Gear icon ().

Tap the Plus icon () to add your camera.

Enter the following information:

Name: Enter a name of your choice to identify the DVR.

Login Type: select IP / Domain or Device ID.
TIP:: If your system supports device ID connection, scan the QR code with the number on top of your DVR, or manually enter the device ID printed on the label. If your system does not support QR scanning, use your IP address or Dynamic Domain Name System (DDNS) instead.

Client Port: Enter the Client Port value for the DVR (default: 9000).

User Name: Enter the User Name. Refer to your user manual for your default Username. Click here for downloads and documentation for your product.

Password: Enter the Password. Refer to your user manual for your default Password.
IMPORTANT: If this is the first time you are logging in you will be prompted to change your DVR password. Enter a new 6 character or digit password and tap Done.

Tap Save to open your Live View.
LIMITATION: A maximum of 3 DVRs can be remotely connected at once.
