Accessories: USB Cable requirements

A micro USB cable is included with your HD WiFi camera. If you use a replacement cable or a longer cable, ensure that it meets the requirements below.

IMPORTANT: While other cables may be compatible, we recommend using the original power cable that was included with the HD WiFi camera. We cannot guarantee the functionality of third party cables. Damage caused by third party cables may void the FLIR warranty.

USB Cables requirements:

• Micro USB cable with USB 2.0 specifications.
• A maximum combined cable length of 5m (16' 5") can be used before self-powered hubs or active (repeater) cables must be used.
• Computers with USB 1.0/1.1 hardware require reduced maximum cable length to 3m (9' 10") before self-powered hugs or active (repeater) cables must be used.
