Lorex Ping App: Modifying LNC camera motion detection settings
The Lorex Ping app allows you to adjust the motion detection sensitivity of your LNC Series cameras using your smartphone or tablet.
Prerequisites:
- Install the Lorex Ping app, available for Android on the Google Play Store, or iOS (Apple) on the App Store.
- Ensure that you have added an LNC Series camera to your Lorex Ping app. Click here for more details.
To edit motion detection settings:

Launch the Lorex Ping app on your smartphone or tablet.

On the Camera List screen, tap the Arrow icon (
) next to your camera to open camera settings. -
Tap Video settings > Control.

Tap the Arrow icon (
) next to Motion sensitivity.

Select a motion detection sensitivity between 1 (High) and 10 (Low).
REMINDER: If Motion Detection Sensitivity is set to 1, motion detection will be triggered if a moving object is larger than 1% of the video area. If it is set to 10, a moving object must be larger than 10% of the video area to trigger motion detection. This setting does not affect the PIR motion detector.

Tap Video settings to exit, then tap Update to save your settings.
