W281AA - How to activate or deactivate camera siren

Your smart device is equipped with a siren. You can activate the siren manually or automatically when motion is detected.

Manual

Here's how to manually activate or deactivate camera siren.

Step 1. Launch the Lorex App app, then tap Device Thumbnail to open Live View.

Step 2. Tap camera siren button to manually activate the camera siren.

Step 3. When propmpted, tap OK to turn it ON.

NOTE: The siren will blow off for 10 seconds.

Step 4. Tap the siren for the second time to turn it OFF.

Motion

Here's how to link camera siren with motion detection.

Step 1. Launch the Lorex App app, then tap Device Settings.

Step 2. Tap Detection Settings.

Step 3. Toggle Motion Detection button to ON.

Step 4. Tap Smart Detection.

Step 5. Toggle Outdoor Mode button to ON if you want to link camera siren to Vehicle Detection.

Step 6. Toggle Person Detection button to ON to activate camera siren when person is detected.

Step 7. Toggle Vehicle Detection button to ON to activate camera siren when vehicle is detected.

Step 8. Go back to Detection Settings, then toggle Siren Activation to ON to link camera siren to motion detection.
