Wi-Fi Security Camera - Changing Device Password

This article applies to the following products: W281AA, W282CA, W261AS, and W261AQ.

You can change the password for your Lorex device at any time using the Lorex App.

Note: This procedure is for changing the password for a specific Lorex device, not the password used for the Lorex App. The login credentials used for the Lorex App are different from the product login credentials.

If you have forgotten the password you created for the Lorex App, tap Forgot password? on the login screen.

To change your device password

1. Launch the Lorex App.

2. Tap icon above the channel thumbnail on the Devices screen.

3. Tap the thumbnail of your device on the Device Settings screen.

4. Tap Device Password.

5. Enter your old password and the new password.
   Note: Your password must be 8-32 characters in length, and must contain a combination of numbers, letters, and symbols.

6. Tap Save.
