What is the 360° view capability?
The 360° view capability refers to the camera’s ability to pan and tilt to cover a wide area. The camera can pan 355° horizontally and tilt 75° vertically, allowing you to remotely adjust the camera’s angle to cover the entire space, ensuring no blind spots.
What storage options are available?
The camera offers flexible storage options, including MicroSD card storage and Lorex Cloud Storage. For an expanded security system, you can also connect the camera to a Lorex Fusion Recorder.
How do I insert or remove the MicroSD card from the camera?
The microSD card slot is hidden just below the camera lens. To find it, gently tilt the lens upwards, and the slot will reveal itself. It is designed to be out of sight when the camera is in its normal position, keeping it sleek and discreet.
- If inserting, slide the MicroSD card into the slot (with the label side down) until it clicks into place.
- If removing, push down gently on the MicroSD card. It will pop out and can then be removed.

For example, if you named your camera "Living Room Camera," you would say, "Alexa, show the Living Room Camera." Using the model number or device ID will not work; you must use the name you assigned in the app.

WPA2 offers security against unauthorized access and data interception and is supported by most Wi-Fi routers including those that support both WPA2 and WPA3. You can easily control the pan & tilt of Camera1 through the Lorex app and even set preset views for quick access.
- Open the Lorex App.

- To set a Preset, pan and tilt to the desired view, tap Add , name your preset, and save it. You can create multiple presets for quick access to specific areas with just a tap.

- Toggle the switch to enable Motion Detection, Person Detection. and/or Animal Detection.

- Adjust Motion Sensitivity to set how sensitive the camera is to motion, from 1 (low sensitivity) to 5 (high sensitivity). Higher sensitivity will detect smaller movements but may result in more notifications. Tap Save when done.
- Use Motion Zones to customize areas in the camera’s view where motion detection will be active. You can create separate zones for General Motion Zone, Person Motion Zone, and Animal Motion Zone.
To Draw a Motion Zone:
- Tap the anchor points at the corners of the motion zone box and drag them to create the desired area.
