How do I reset the camera?
Reset your device by holding the reset button below the camera lens until you hear the audio prompt.
How do I communicate through the camera?
The camera features a call button and 2-way talk. You can press the call button to directly connect and communicate using the Lorex app.
How does the camera's privacy mode work?
When you enable privacy mode in the Lorex App, the camera tilts downward, fully covering the lens to ensure complete privacy.
Can this camera detect people and pets?
Yes, the camera features person and pet detection, allowing it to differentiate between different types of movement.
What is the Auto-Tracking Feature?
The Auto-Tracking feature in the camera automatically follows and records moving objects in its view. When motion is detected, the top camera pans and tilts to keep the object centered, ensuring you capture all activity. If multiple people are detected, the camera tracks the one that occupies the most space in the frame. This feature is ideal for monitoring large areas and can be easily enabled in the Lorex app
What is the 360° view capability?
The 360° view capability is enabled by the camera’s pan-tilt feature, which allows the top camera to rotate horizontally (pan) and vertically (tilt) around the room. This means you can remotely adjust the camera’s angle to cover the entire space, ensuring no blind spots.
What storage options are available?
The camera supports both MicroSD card storage and Lorex Cloud storage, giving you flexible options for saving your video footage.
How do I adjust the lower camera?
Gently tilt the lower camera slightly up or down to adjust the angle. Use light pressure to avoid damage.
What do the different Smart Security Lighting indicators mean?
The Smart Security Lighting indicators on the camera provide information about the current state of the camera, such as whether it is operating:
Can I control the camera remotely?
Yes, you can control the camera remotely using the Lorex app, which allows you to pan, tilt, and adjust settings from your mobile device.
How do I call the camera using my Alexa?
When calling the camera with your Alexa, you must call it by the name you have given it in the Lorex App. Calling the camera by the model number or device ID will not work.

Where can I download the Lorex app?

Where do I place the camera?
- Place the camera in a wide, open space, and avoid placing it near any obstructions.
- Place the camera at the central point of the area you wish to monitor.
- Point the camera where there is the least amount of obstructions.
Other recommendations:
- Place the camera close to your Wi-Fi router as possible.
- Reduce the number of obstructive materials between the camera and the router or access point.

Set the Smart Security Lighting™ Modes (Lorex App)

Swipe to the bottom and tap on Light Settings.

- Select a Smart Lighting Mode and then tap Set.
- (Optional) Select Custom Mode, and then tap again to customize it:

Sun - Sat: Select a weekday for the schedule.

AM - PM: Set the schedule start time and end time.

Light Color: Tap to open the color wheel, then swipe through to set a custom color. Tap Save.

Light Mode: Select Solid for a solid light or Flashing for a flashing light. Tap Save.

Light Brightness: Adjust the Smart Security Lighting™ brightness level, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest.

How do I take a recording of the recording?
- Tap the camera's live view footage in the Home Screen.
- Tap Record Video to capture an image.
- Tap on the Recording to view all of your snapshots and recordings.
- Tap on your desired Recording and press Save to save it to your device.
How do I enable the siren?
- Tap the camera's live view footage in the Home Screen.
- Tap Siren and confirm.
- Tap Siren again to turn off.
How do I configure notifications?

- Tap to enable Alert Notifications, and Alert and Event thumbnails.
- Tap Notification Schedule to receive push notifications only during your selected schedule.
How do I configure Motion Detection?
