Wireless Home Monitor: SD card issues
If the SD card inserted in the Wireless Home Monitor no longer overwrites, file overwrite may have been disabled. The file overwrite icon (
) will display on the Live View of the monitor if enabled. If file overwrite is not enabled the SD icon will turn red (
) when the SD card is full, and files will need to be manually deleted before new recordings can be stored.
To enable File Overwrite:
- On the monitor tap the Menu icon (
). - Use the joystick to select Record > File Overwrite.
- Select Yes to enable File Overwrite.
- Tap the Menu icon () until all menus are closed.
If the SD card does not stay in the SD card slot:
- Ensure that a compatible SD card is being used.
- Ensure that the diagram on the monitor is being followed when inserting the SD card.
- Try using a different SD card.
If there is an SD card error there may be a corrupt file on the SD card. Format the SD card using the monitor.
