Audio: Voice echoing from the FLIR FX camera

If you are experiencing an echo when using the FLIR FX camera intercom feature, it may be caused by audio feedback. Audio feedback typically occurs when the FLIR FX camera is in close proximity to a smartphone or tablet with audio output turned on. Feedback may also occur in cameras running earlier firmware versions.

To reduce audio feedback:

  • Move further away from your camera before opening live video feed on your smartphone or tablet.
  • Turn off the volume / mute the speaker on your smartphone or tablet.
