Prerequisite:
To view recordings saved to an LHV / LNR Series DVR / NVR:
LHV / LNR Series DVR / NVR systems save recorded video as .dav or .asf files.

.dav files are proprietary video files which require a Lorex by FLIR video player software to be viewed. To play a .dav file, download and install the Lorex by FLIR video player application available online for PC and Mac. Click here for more information on locating software downloads.

.asf files can be played on most computers using readily available free software from the Internet. To play an .asf file, use a third party media player such as VLC Media Player, available online for PC and Mac.
TIP: VLC Media Player is a free software available from www.videolan.org and is not supported by Lorex by FLIR.
