2K Wire-Free Camera - Camera connection timing out during setup

This article provides troubleshooting solutions if the connection times out when adding the 2K HD cameras to the Lorex Home Hub (H871T6D).

Camera error

Important: Please, only pair 1 camera at a time. Do not press the pair button on any of the other cameras.

Try the following:

  1. Ensure your camera is located within a few feet of the hub.

  2. Make sure the camera is in pairing mode by pressing the pairing button located at the bottom of the camera. The status indicator on the front panel will flash green.

  3. At the Home screen, pull down to refresh the screen then check if the camera has been added to the hub. If you're adding a second camera, swipe left to view the additional cameras.

  4. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to reset the camera by pressing and holding the camera's pairing button until you hear a chime and the status indicator turns solid red.
