To use Lorex Cloud Storage optimally, you need a stable internet connection, the latest version of the Lorex app, and the most up-to-date firmware for your devices.
Do I need a Lorex Cloud Storage plan to use my cameras?
No, a Lorex Cloud Storage plan is an optional add-on that provides additional security for your cameras. You can use your cameras with local storage alone without cloud storage.
Can I use one Lorex Cloud Storage plan for cameras at multiple locations?
No, each Lorex Cloud Storage plan is limited to a single location. You will need separate plans for each location.
What resolution will my cameras record to Lorex Cloud Storage?
Lorex Cloud Storage supports recording resolutions up to 4K, depending on the maximum resolution of your device.
Can I still record to my camera’s SD card if I have a Lorex Cloud Storage plan?
Yes, your camera will record all motion and Smart Motion events to both the SD card and the cloud storage.
What if I’m not satisfied with Lorex Cloud Storage?
You can cancel auto-renewal at any time to stop future payments. You will retain access to the service until the end of your current billing period.

Lorex Cloud Storage records Smart Motion Detection events to the cloud.
