Storage: Locating FLIR FX video and image files

Your FLIR FX camera will store various recorded video files and image files in different default locations. Most recorded videos are stored on the microSD card (included) installed in your FLIR FX camera, some are saved to your smartphone / tablet storage, and others are saved to the FLIR Cloud.

  • Dashcam: recorded videos are stored in the Car and Event folders on the microSD card.
  • RapidRecaps: stored on the FLIR Cloud.
  • SnapShots: stored to your smartphone or tablet, and can be found in the Camera Roll on iOS (Apple) or Gallery on Android.
  • Automatic triggers: (motion and audio) are initially stored to the microSD card, and automatically move to the FLIR Cloud when the required Internet bandwidth is available.

You can playback recorded video files saved to the FLIR Cloud by using the FLIR FX app or by accessing your FLIR Secure account:

  • To view a recorded video through the FLIR web viewer sign in to your FLIR Secure account and click View My Cameras
