Yes, the No-Drill Mount Kit is designed to be renter-friendly, allowing for installation without the necessity of screws, drills, or an electrician. It sticks securely to your door’s location and can be easily installed in just a few minutes.
What surfaces can the No-Drill Mount Kit be used on?
The No-Drill Mount Kit is effective on many surfaces, but will perform best on smooth, even surfaces that have been wiped cleaned before installation. It is not recommended to install the No-Drill Mount Kit on brick, shingles, and rough stucco surfaces. The No-Drill Mount Kit, Cannot be installed on glass. The installation surface must be able to hold three times the total weight of the No-Drill Mount Kit and the Video Doorbell (6.72 lbs / 3.06 kg).
How do I install the No-Drill Mount Kit?
- Ensure the surface is smooth, clean, and dry.
- Peel off the protective film without touching the adhesive.
- Carefully attach the bracket to the surface.
- Mount the Video Doorbell on the bracket.
How do I remove the B463AJD Video Doorbell from the No-Drill Mount Kit?
Insert the Release Pin into the top hole of the bracket. Gently push until the Video Doorbell is released.
How do I remove the No-Drill Mount Kit?
- Insert the Release Pin into the top hole of the bracket. Gently push until the Video Doorbell is released.
- Gently wiggle the bracket side to side to avoid damage to the wall. Then clean the wall to remove any leftover adhesive residue.
How do I reinstall the No-Drill Mount Kit after removal?
- Remove the No-Drill Mount Kit from the original wall using the above instructions.
- After you remove the bracket from the wall, peel off the original adhesive tape and clean the No-Drill Mount Kit to remove any residue.
- Peel the protective film from one end of the extra adhesive tape without touching the adhesive.
- Gently apply the sticky side of the adhesive onto the back of the mounting bracket.
Note: The adhesive tape cannot be repositioned once attached to a surface. Please exercise caution when positioning the adhesive tape.
- Follow the mounting instructions to complete the installation.
