Hardware: Locating the serial and model number

All products have a model number indicating device type, and a unique serial number. These numbers can be useful when looking up software or manuals for your product.

The serial number and model number are generally found on a sticker on the top or bottom of the DVR / NVR. The serial number is located under the barcode and the model number will display as M/N:.

If the serial number or model number cannot be found on the bottom of the DVR / NVR, you may be able to access them on the recorder's System Information screen.

If searching for a camera model number or serial number, look for a sticker attached to bottom or side of the camera. The model number will be labelled Model No: or M/N: The serial number will be located above or below the barcode.
