Wi-Fi Security Camera - Account Settings

You can use the Account Settings menu to change your Lorex App username, password, associated email address, as well as set preferences for push notifications.

To access Account Settings

  1. Launch the Lorex App.

  2. Tap Settings tab.

  3. Tap Account Settings.

Account Settings

  1. Account Information: Change your associated E-mail or change the region used for device time zones.

  2. Security:

  • Change your Lorex App account password. For more instructions, see Change Device Password.
  • Enable/disableicon to activate Face ID Login. When enabled, tap the home screen to quickly login to your Lorex App account using Face ID.
  • Export account information. For more instructions, see Exporting Account Settings.
  • Delete your Lorex App account.
  1. Two-Step Verification: Protects your account by setting up a second method for verifying your identity. For setup instructions, see Two-Step Verification Setup.

  2. About: Displays app version.

  3. Privacy Policy: View the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

  4. Clear Cache: Remove temporary data. This is useful if you are unable to see recent changes made in the app, such as an updated device name.

  5. Logout: Tap to logout from your current device.
    Note: The system will not delete any data when you logout. You can still use your current credentials for your next login.
