Your Lorex Smart Home Security Center (LSHSC) does not need to be connected to Wi-Fi to function.

This would be especially useful in the following scenarios:

• You don’t have an internet connection on your property but you still want to stay updated and record events.
• You’re concerned about devices connecting to the internet.
• You don’t use the Lorex Home app for remote viewing.

Without Wi-Fi, it’s still possible to:

• Set up and manage devices.
• Watch live view and playback.
• And use the Lorex Voice Assistant.

However, while in offline mode won’t have access to some features:

Remote viewing from your mobile device. Automatic updates. And the weather. Any devices that were added through the Lorex Home app will no longer work in Offline mode. The LSHSC Extender will continue to work.

If you’d like to set up offline mode, you have two options:

During the initial setup, you can choose from Wired, Wireless, or Offline connection.

• Tap on Use Offline.
• Tap Next.
• Tap Proceed to confirm.
• You can then set up your devices.
• You can switch to Offline mode anytime by disabling your internet connection.

If you’re using a wired connection, unplug the Ethernet cable at the back.

• If you’re using Wi-Fi, tap the Wi-Fi icon at the top right.
• Tap on Wireless Network to turn it off.

You can now use the LSHSC in Offline mode.
